Kimberly Currier McAdams, Class of ’90, National Manager, American Cancer Society

After high school, Kimberly attended and graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC ln 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications. She has become a certified facilitator for 7 Habits of Highly Efficient people and. 7 Habits of Highly Efficient Managers. she is a graduate of Foundations in Leadership, Society for Organizational Learning. Kimberly was a speaker at the ASTD International conference, Building Business Acumen, concurrent sessions, 2005.

Kimberly has worked for the American Cancer Society since 1996. Her first position was Income Development Director, Southwest Division. In 2000 she was promoted to Learning and Development Director, Southwest Division (a three state division), and in 2004 was once again promoted to Learning and Development Director/Learning and Development vice president, Great western Division. on March 13, 2007 she was promoted to the position of National Manager. On March 17, 2007 Kimberly was inducted into the Furman University HaIl of Fame.

She has spent 11 years of being progressively responsible for work in the major non-profit healthcare field, which has led her to the promotions and recognitions she has received
